Beijing : Another 13 bodies were found in an area destroyed by the earthquake in Sichuan province, increasing the death toll to 69,159.
According to the State Council Information Board there are 17,469 missing up to now while 374,141 have received medical attention.
There are still 15,478 people in hospitals, many of them in assistance centers in other provinces, noted the same source.
According to the authorities rescue teams found and evacuated to safe places about 1.4 million survivors from the May 12 earthquake that reached 8 degrees on the Richter scale.
In addition, 1.1 million tents have been sent to the homeless, as well as nearly 5 million blankets and 14 million articles of clothing.
Aftershocks are still taking place in the area and in the last 24 hours 178 of them have been registered although they have all been less than 4 degrees of intensity.
