Nepali CPN-M Chairman invited to visit Russia

Kathmandu : Ambassador of the Russian Federation Andrei L. Trofimov Sunday invited Chairman Prachanda of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M) to visit Russia.

Ambassador Trofimov called on Prachanda’s residence at Khusibu, Nayabazaar in the west of Nepali capital Kathmandu on Sunday.

On the occasion, Ambassador Trofimov expressed his interest to strengthen the bilateral relation, and to assist Nepal for the extension of small and large scale hydro power projects, cement, and agricultural industries and electrical railway.

Ambassador Trofimov invited Chairman Prachanda to visit his country along with a team of experts in an appropriate time, according to Nepali national news agency RSS.

Moreover, he assured of full support and assistance from the Russian Federation to the new government in Nepal be formed under the leadership of CPN-M, the largest elected party in the Constituent Assembly.
