Four activists of these organizations have been arrested in connection with the Thane bombing case.

In a statement MPJ condemned the sinister design of the Hindu extremist organizations to divide the society by killing innocents at public places. It said the Thane blasts and other such terror activities were designed by these fascist organizations to divide the country. They want to create an atmosphere of hatred and fear which leads to insecurity of our state.

MPJ demanded thorough investigation into the activities of the organizations involved in such acts. It also demanded stern action against the guilty and ban on the organizations.

The dharna is being supported by Mumbai Catholic Sabha, Maharashtra Manav Adhikar Suraksha Samiti, Awami Bharat and Senior Citizen of Royal College.
