Israeli forces launch mission near Hebron

Ramallah : Israeli forces launched a wide scale military mission on Tuesday in Bani Naeem town, near Hebron, south the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses told KUNA that Israeli forces surrounded the town, backed by a large number of tanks and machinery.

They added, the Israeli forces are searching homes, arresting dozens of Palestinians, in addition to preventing Palestinians from entering the town, as they surrounded the town with sand barriers and cement blocks.

Meanwhile, for the second day Israeli forces continued destroying of farm lands in Beit Hinayan, northwest Jerusalem. Residents said that Israeli bulldozers destroyed olive fields to build a new connection to the separating wall. That came after the Israeli forces arrested two Palestinian activists of the Islamic Jihad in Nablus.
