Kuwait : Hesham Hussein Al-Baghli won municipal by-elections for the fourth constituency after garnering 2,012 votes, Justice Ali Buqammaz, chairman of the committee supervising the elections, said.
He announced that Al-Baghli was the winner out of 17 candidates contesting for the constituency’s single seat.
Born 1969 and holds a masters degree in engineering sciences from Moscow University, Al-Baghli is employed in the architectural engineering department of the Fire Services Directorate’s precautionary department and is a member of Kuwait Engineering Society.
Buqammaz said the 9,976 people cast their ballots, making a turout of 18.12 percent, out of 55,045 eligible voters in the fourth constituency.
