Kabul : A US-led coalition forces helicopter crashed in eastern Afghanistan, the military said on Thursday. A statement of the coalition forces in Bagram air base, north of Kabul, said, “A coalition forces’ helicopter crashed Wednesday in Konar province.” The cause of the crash is still not known, the military statement added, assuring that no casualties were reported.
“All have been returned safely from the incident,” it said. The aircraft has been secured and the incident is currently under investigations, said the statement. About two weeks back, a coalition forces helicopter had hard landed in the same province. No casualties were reported in that incident.
