Kuwait : The National Assembly approved Thursday the decree on budgets of independent state authorities for the fiscal year 2008-2009 and referred them to the cabinet.
The budgets of the Central Bank of Kuwait, Kuwait Municipality, Kuwait Investment Authority, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, the Savings and Credit Bank, the Public Authority for Housing Care, the Public Institute for Social Security, Kuwait Airways Corporation, and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation were approved.
The parliament is set to begin its closing sitting for the current session of the 12th legislative term shortly.
