Economic condition of Indian Muslims outside Kashmir is worst: Azad

Jammu: Jammu Kashmir Chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today claimed that no one other than him knows ‘Indian topography’ better and said the economic condition of Muslims outside state was worst than of Kashmiri Muslims.

In an interview to Door Darshan Srinagar, chief minister said that the root cause to all problems is politicians who are hoodwinking people for their own sake.

He said that that condition of Muslims in other states of the country was not so good as compared to Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Muslims here are well settled so far development and the economic condition is concerned.

“I believe if one is sincere to himself he is sincere to people”, Azad said adding that he has toured across the country and knows India better than any body else.

Azad claimed that he is most trusted man in the Congress for the reason that he has visited almost all the states of the country and has traveled lakhs of kilometers.

“I have traveled around 22 lakh kilometers of Indian roads covering 98 per cent parliamentary constituencies and 98 per cent blocks across the country”, he said.

Referring to the political bickering, Azad said that politicians should be sincere and people’s aspirations are always to be respected. With out naming PDP Azad said that some political parties are blackmailing the emotions of the people which can even proved fatal for them.
