Imphal (Manipur): The recommendations of the Sachar Committee should be implemented in the state as early as possible, demanded the United Club Organisation (UCO)
The National president of UCO has put the demand before the Chief Minister of the state, Obobi Singh. UCO has highlighted the fact that recently the University Grant Commission (UGC) directed all higher education institutions to increase the number of teachers in the colleges and the universities established in the Muslim majority areas.
