The accusation was backed up with the attempt of burning several cabins fitted out for voting.

The police said five members of local Movement for Democratic Change, led by Morgan Tsvangerai, tried to burn several cabins for the elections, which gives a sample of their own purposes.

“It’s evident that the opposition party wanted to disturb the elections,” said one of the local police chiefs, Faustino Mazango, to local newspaper The Herald in this capital.

However, Mazango stated the response against these deeds will be carried out by the agents of public order.

Voters are going to the electoral colleges to decide if current President Robert Mugabe is still in the power, or opposition leader Tsvangerai, who got retired from the elections, will replace him.

The president of the Zimbabwean Electoral Commission, George Shiweshe, said the decline made by Tsvangerai is not legitime.
