Gaza : Palestinian movement, Hamas, has demanded the full release of Fatah imprisoned leader since 2002, Marwan Al-Barghouti as part of the prisoner exchange for the Israeli soldier held in captive by Hamas, Gilad Shalit, according to the Israeli-state radio.
Egypt is the medium in the negotiations regarding Al-Barghouti, who has been denied release time and time again by Israeli authorities.
Head of Israeli General Security Service “Shabak” Yuval Diskin, previously agreed to the release of a number of high priority Palestinian prisoners in the Shalit exchange deal.
