Memphis (US) : Top seed Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas advanced to the final of $769,000 Regions Morgan Keegan Championships and Cellular South Cup here with a facile 7-6 (11-9), 6-2 win over American-Russian duo of Jim thomas Us and Igor Kunitsyn here Saturday.
Bhupathi-Knowles pair, who made a semi-final appearance at the seasons opening Grand Slam, the Australian Open, will face Thai brothers Sanchai and Sochat Ratiwatana in the finals.
The Thai brothers had to dug deep to prevail over Brazilian combination of Marcelo Melo and Andre S.A. 3-6, 6-3, 15-13 in the other semi-final.
