Gaza : Israeli Army on Sunday announced that more than 40 missiles were launched from northern Gaza, targeting the Israeli cities of Sderot and Ashkelon.
Despite the wide-scale military operation, Palestinian resistance factions managed to launch the missiles, which injured 20 Israelis, an Army spokesperson said.
He added that three (Jarad) missiles had hit houses that were damaged by the home-made rockets.
Meanwhile, Izz al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that two of its fighters were killed during raids by Israeli war planes over the town of Beit Hanoun northern Gaza Strip.
Raed Jneid, 27, and Naem Abu Al-Husna, 48, were announced martyrs by the Brigades in a statement.
To that, Palestinian medical sources said that 17-year-old Abduraheem Saleh from Jabalya refugees’ camp was announced dead at Al-Shifaa Hospital in Gaza due to injuries he sustained earlier today.
His death was a result of an Israeli raid that targeted northern the Strip.
