Gaza : Israel pulled its troops out the northern Gaza Strip overnight Sunday, after five days of fierce assult which left 116 Palestinians dead and 350 wounded, the highest number of Palestinian casualties in an Israeli aggression since the 1967 war, DPA reported.
An Israeli military spokesman in Tel Aviv said nearly all ground troops had pulled out of the Strip, but said Israel would continue to respond to missile fire by launching airstrikes on the
perpetrators.
“If they continue to fire at us with rockets, we will shoot back,” he said.
