Ramallah : Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian boy near the West Bank city of Ramallah during clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian demonstrators, witnesses said.
The witnesses added that Mohammed Shriteh, 18, was killed by an Israeli gunshot during the confrontations in the south of Ramallah.
The Palestinians were protesting against the Israeli military operation in Gaza which left more than 110 people dead. The Israeli army withdrew in the morning from the eastern territories of northern Gaza Strip after tow-day incursion.
The witnesses said that high school students staged the demonstration and marched towards Israeli settlements in the south of Ramallah where the Israeli army used fire to prevent the students from going ahead.
On Sunday, a Palestinian boy was also killed in similar clashes in another West Bank city Hebron.
