“The claimant of the Playwin Super Lotto online lottery jackpot has personally approached the head office in Mumbai and we will know the name and other details by tomorrow (Tuesday),” the online lottery’s regional distributor Swapnil Agrawal told IANS Monday.

The ticket was picked as the lucky winner during the ‘Thursday Jackpot’ of the lottery last week.

The lottery’s ticket retailer D.K. Sahu from whose shop the ticket was sold last month has also rushed to Mumbai to claim his one percent commission that works out to Rs.600,000.

Agrawal said the as-yet unidentified winner is the first from the city to hit the jackpot though at least 25 people have won smaller amounts ranging from Rs.100,000 to Rs.400,000 in the lottery’s eight-month run in the state.
