Sebastian Kehl opened the scoring at the end of a disappointing first half as he headed in a cross from the left by South African international Delron Buckley Friday.

It took the visitors just five minutes after the restart to equalise as an attempted Dortmund clearance landed with Swiss defender Steve von Bergen, who sent Hertha top scorer Marko Pantelic with the ball.

The Serb international made no mistake from close range as he side-footed the ball past Dortmund defender Marc Ziegler for his 11th league goal of the season.

Neither side will be very pleased with the result as they keep Dortmund in 13th place on 29 points while Berlin, who have just two points more, climbed one place to 10th.

Title-chasing Bayern Munich, who have a four-point lead over Werder Bremen, are at home to SC Karlsruhe, while Bremen have a potentially more difficult game away at the defending champions VfB Stuttgart.
