Sari : The deputy minister of culture and Islamic guidance said on Monday that Arab states’ silence on crimes being committed by Zionists in Gaza is shameful.
Speaking at a seminar held in Behshahr to ‘honor martyrs of Gaza’, Mohammad Hadi Homayoun said, “We cannot remain silent while such heinous crimes are being committed by the Zionists in Gaza.” Referring to the enemies’ attempt to hurt Muslims, he said, “We as Muslims must vigilant more than ever before vis-a-vis terrorism and must defend human rights.”
He added that the enemies are bent on creating chaos in the region and therefore Muslims are duty-bound to nullify their conspiracy.
“Now that Islamic civilization is taking shape all over the world, and Islam and spiritualism have spread worldwide, our enemies led by the US have come to the region to control governments.
Therefore, we have to resist such plots,” the deputy minister said.
Referring to the 11 September 2001 attacks on Twin Towers in New York aiming to defame Muslims, Homayoun said, “The enemies seek to penetrate into the region. Thus we have to be aware of their plots.”
