C&C Constructions bags Rs.2 bn contracts in Himachal

Mumbai : Gurgaon-based C&C Constructions Ltd has been awarded two contracts worth Rs.2.02 billion ($500 million) from Himachal Pradesh Road and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.

According to a company release issued Monday, the two contracts also fall under the World Bank Development Scheme and they incorporate widening and strengthening of roads within the state.

With the addition of these orders, the company’s order book now stands at Rs.10.08 billion ($2.5 billion) which it will execute by June 2009.

Earlier, the company had bagged three orders valued at Rs.2.09 billion from Punjab government for projects aided by the World Bank.
