Mubarak, for his part, said that Egyptian-Polish relations should be fostered especially in the field of trade exchange, investments and tourism.

The guest believes Cairo and Warsaw need bilateral and EU-Egypt achievements and projects.

“We agreed for the need to step up our regional and international efforts aimed at defusing the situation in that region, also in the context of cooperation with the EU,” Mubarak said.

The Egyptian leader also said that “Poland plays a very active role in Middle Eastern affairs, pursues a very active foreign policy also as an EU member.”
