Iran well-prepared for holding fair elections, minister

Zahedan, Sistan Baluchestan prov : Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Soleymani said here Thursday that all infrastructure preparations have been made for holding precise and fair Majlis elections.

Soleymani made the remarks on the sidelines of commissioning some telecommunication projects in Zahedan, Sistan Baluchestan province, adding that the ministry can verify the safe and sound computerized elections nationwide slated for March 14.

The national resolve to bolster unity, consensus and belief in the Almighty God pave the way for demolishing plots hatched by enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he noted.

The minister said that the current status of the Islamic country is contrary to the wishes of the global arrogance, adding that massive turnout in tomorrow elections will disappoint them.

The late Imam Khomeini, the Supreme Leader and officials of the Islamic system give much attention to Quranic and Islamic tenets in all works and responsibilities, he said, adding that the Islamic system has gained lofty status in international arena, international meetings and global organizations as a result of constant cooperation and consensus between government and people.
