New Delhi : Though it was another pleasant spring day in the national capital Saturday, the weatherman has forecast that the temperatures could rise in the coming days.
The maximum temperature in Delhi was around 30 degrees it was a warm and sunny day which most residents saw as a prelude to the summer.
The day’s low was 15.8 degrees Celsius making for a cool early morning and night.
The weatherman has forecast an increase in the maximum temperature in the northern plains over the next couple of days.
Meanwhile, southern India had its share of annual showers for this time of the year. Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore witnessed showers during the day. Some parts of the south saw heavy rainfall.
The Met Office has forecast more rain for the region for the next couple of days.
