New York : A group of Pakistani students and their supporters Saturday staged a demonstration in front of the Pakistan Consulate General demanding the independence of the higher judiciary in Pakistan.
The protest was one of the three organized by the Student Action Committee-USA that drew from Columbia University, New York University, Central University of New York and University of Connecticut as well as doctors, lawyers and other members of the Pakistani community in New York.
The protestors raised slogans in favour of an independent judiciary in Pakistan.
