Islamabad : Pakistan Peoples Party senior leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim after the oath taking of new Speaker NA, said in the House that he expects the new speaker would come upto the House expectations and work for the smooth functioning of the proceedings.
In his brief felicitation speech, he felicitated the new speaker from the core of his heart.
He recalled the political sacrifices of the newly elect speaker NA Dr Fehmida Mirza.
Amin Fahim called it the first step towards the new democratic process in the country.
He said it is the duty of every member to play their positive role during the House proceedings.
He highlighted certain problems faced by the country including price hike and other issues.
He said that there is a dire need to work collectively to make this country a prosperous and establish its honour and dignity abroad.
He felicitated the new Speaker, Pakistan Peoples Party and the Co-Chairman of party Asif Zardari.
