Islamabad : The coalition candidate for the seat of Speaker of National Assembly, Dr.Fehmida Mirza has expressed her resolve that they would keep the interest of the people of Pakistan supreme and she would deal all the parlimentarians equally.
Talking to private TV channel (Aaj), she said that her family has been harassed for the eleven and half years.She had a hint, as it was the desire of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to bring a woman parliamentarian forward, she added.Dr Fehmida Mirza said the assassination of Mohtarma became catalyst for the revival of democracy in Pakistan as they were going to write a new chapter in the history of nations, “And I think that PPPP and Mohtarma have given a great sacrifice in this regard”.
Indeed some women parliamentarians have met her and said that they would feel good for voting party but if their conscience moves them they must go for it.
Entire parliament has witnessed her cool temperment when she was being harassed in the past.
