Condemning the movie, Maulana Syed Ahmad Khizr, all India general secretary of the organization, said the sole purpose of the film was to provoke Muslims. He said Zionist and other anti-Islam forces had lost their nerves seeing the growing influence and realization of Islam and this was the reason that their misdemeanor against Islam, the Prophet Muhammad and Quran was continuing regularly.

He said on one hand there was bullying through this film and on the other hand controversial author Salman Rushdie’s book was being staged in Germany. These are only ploys to fiddle with Muslim sentiments. He appealed to Muslims to raise their voice in protest and demanded that the Government of India should also register its protest against these incidents because about 150 million Muslims are living in the country. He called on Muslim Members of Parliament to rise above party politics and raise their voice against these misdeeds and pressure the government to communicate the sentiments of Indian Muslims to respective governments.
