The radio added that the meeting was held at Dawood Hotel in Jerusalem, addressing final-status issues.

Rice met, early today, Israeli Prime minister Ehud Olmert for the second time. She would be heading later to Jordan to hold a second meeting with the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as a part of her shuttle mission in the region.

The US official has made some headways in her current settlement mission. On Sunday, it was announced that Israel would move scores of roadblocks in the West Bank to facilitate the Palestinians’ living conditions and movement.
