Gaza : Two Palestinian activists were injured early Thursday when Israeli jets executed a military operation targeting the city of Rafah, south Gaza Strip.
According to eyewitness’ statements, Israeli warplanes fired one missile at least, targeting a civilian car which was crossing Al-Shaburah Refugee Camp in Rafah, wounding two camp residents, and one is said to be in serious condition.
Sources told KUNA the injured were taken to martyr Abu-Yousef Al-Najjar hospital in Rafah, noting a child was among the casualties.
Another raid had been executed late on Wednesday coinciding with an Israeli incursion into the city of Abasan, north Gaza Strip, just hours after an Israeli-Palestinian agreement on an undeclared truce was reached in Cairo.
The attack injured Awadh Aqeeq, 40, a member of Jihad’s Quds Brigades, along with Hamas activist Nafeth Mansour, 40, who died upon arrival to hospital in Rafah.
