Islamabad : A tribal elder was seriously wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in Pakistani tribal agency along Afghan border on Thursday, said police.
A local pro-government tribal elder was traveling in his vehicle in Orakzai tribal agency when it was targeted by a remote-controlled road-side bomb, police sources told KUNA.
They said the explosion seriously wounded the elder, adding that it also damaged the vehicle.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack but local suspected Taliban militants behind the explosion.
