Tehran : Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini late Thursday confirmed visit of an Iraqi delegation to Iran and said the Iraqis will discuss with Iranians latest Iraq developments.
“Iranian officials will talk with the delegation in pursuit of the policy for settlement of the ongoing differences and clashes in Iraq,” Hosseini told IRNA.
Hosseini said Iran has received the delegation in line with the policy to restore stability and security in Iraq.
He said occupiers’ presence and terrorism are main problems facing Iraq.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will as before use all its capacity to help Iraqi government and nation,” he concluded.
