Bhopal : A special court here has directed the Lokayukta (ombudsman) to register a case against Indore District Collector Vivek Agarwal and investigate the charges of corruption levelled against him by state Congress general secretary Premchand Guddu.
Guddu, a lawmaker from Indore, had in a petition recently filed in the court alleged that Agarwal had extended “undue favours” to a city builder.
Acting on the petition, Special Court Judge R.K. Bhave directed Ombudsman Ripusudan Dayal to register a case against Agarwal and probe the charges.
