Tunis : The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) will participate on Monday in a meeting organized by the Riyadh-based King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology for a number of Arabic specialists and experts in the Active Arabic Dictionary Project.
A statement issued today by ALECSO said this comes in accordance with the initiative of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz to enrich the digital Arabic content.
As many as 80 Arabic linguistic and computer experts from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Algiers, France and Britain will participate in the meeting in addition to representatives from WHO office in Cairo and The Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, said the statement.
