By DPA,
Istanbul : Super Aguri’s participation at the Turkish Formula One Grand Prix next week is uncertain after the trucks of the financially troubled team were not permitted into the paddock.
A team spokeswoman confirmed a report from the autosport.com website that the trucks, carrying spare parts and the car had to be parked outside the track.
Super Aguri is supported by Honda, who now appear no longer ready to invest into the team. Autosport.com said that Honda team top official Nick Fry told Turkish organisers that Super Aguri will not compete in Istanbul.
Super Aguri and Honda are in talks with a German company, the Weigl-Group, but it remains open whether this rescue operation for the team will be successful.
