Speaking to a group of voters in the constituency Wednesday evening, he said the reason why he was running for election was to raise general awareness and development, with the aim of making Kuwait one again the “pearl of the Gulf.” He criticized the deteriorating medical services in the constituency and the country in general, noting that no new hospital was constructed in Kuwait since 1980.

He also highlighting the need for finding a solution to the housing problem and to construct new power plants to avoid blackouts in the summer, saying that surplus revenues brought about by the hike in oil prices could be used to resolve these issues.
