Kuwait : The fifth constituency was represented by 41 members of Parliament (PMs) in the National Assemblies formed between 1981 and 2006.
Khaled Al-Adwah is the number-one veteran representative of this constituency that groups the districts number 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 in the dissolved 25-constituency system. He had served for five legislative terms.
Hadi Al-Huwailah, Fahad Al-Mai’ and Marzoug Al-Hubaini were elected and served for four legislative terms. Rashed Al-Hujailan and Walid Al-Jeri were elected and served three times.
Khaled Al-Ejran, Mubarak Raee Al-Fahmaa, Hadel Al-Jalawi, Ayed Al-Aami, Saad Al-Ajmi, Khamees Ugab, Ayed Al-Mutairi, Jumaan Al-Azmi, Abdullah Al-Hajeri, Abdullah Al-Abdali, Al-Ghanem Al-Mei’ and Mubarak Raee Al-Fahmaa represented in two terms.
Those who had served in the legislative authority only once were Khalifa Al-Jeri, Mraikhan Al-Ajmi, Huzam Al-Mai’, Mubarak Al-Dabbous, Duaij Al-Jeri, Mubarak Al-Zuwair, Sharea Al-Ajmi, Turki Al-Azmi, Saad Al-Dosari, Saadoun Al-Otaibi, Mubarak Al-Ajmi, Fahad Al-Hajeri, Meshaan Al-Azmi, Jassem Ali Ahmad, Ali Al-Hajeri, Issam Al-Dabbous, Abdullah Al-Ajmi, Jaber Al-Azmi, Falah Al-Hajeri and Saad Al-Shuraie.
Four MPs in this constituency had served as ministers out of 22 executives, elected from various districts, since 1981.
In the 1992 cabinet formation, Jumaan Al-Azmi served as the minister of religious affairs and Abdullah Al-Hajeri worked as the minister of commerce. The latter had also worked as the minister of labor.
Fahad Al-Mai’ had served as the minister of labor in 2001. Al-Hajeri served as the minister of commerce in 2006 and 2007.
