In a seminar he held Sunday evening, Al-Bathali called for finding solutions for the housing, unemployment, health, and educational issues.

He stressed that it was unfortunate that the executive and legislative authorities were not cooperative with each other, hindering the government’s development and economic activities.

He noted that some former NA members used their posts to gain personal interests, causing tension and suspicion between the NA and government.

The former MPs did not give attention to the problem of the people and the issues of women and the youth, but were busy quizzing ministers, he said.

The candidate called for putting a plan to combat unemployment and to hire graduates in the private sector, praising the efforts exerted by the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP).

The second constituency consists of 13 areas and has 41,365 voters including 22,103 women.
