Yangon : The aftermaths of Cycloon Nargis in Myanmar seem endless, with fresh outbreaks of cholera along the Irrawaddy river bank and other epidemics.
Official estimates set the missing at 55,000 along with 20,000 wounded, while humanitarian bodies estimate fatalities at over 100,000 due to the growing number of lost people.
The Red Cross says the dead may round 128,000, while the UN says the number may extend to 100,000 and the surviving victims 2.5 million amid slow and inefficient arrival of relief.
UN Spokesman in Bangkok, Steve Marshall, says Myanmar only has six copters to cover the affected area and the UNICEF says near one million orphans need aid.
