Bhubaneswar : Two Maoist guerrillas were Tuesday arrested in Rayagada district of Orissa, police said.
Rayagada district police chief A.K. Singh said the arrested Maoists were 30-year-old K.K. Sethi alias Mantu and 27-year-old Sujata. Rayagada is about 650 km from state capital Bhubaneswar.
The arrested Maoists, who claim to be commanders of two regional groups of the outlawed Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), have confessed to involvement in several crimes in the district, including murder and landmine blasts.
