Katich guides Australia to 189/2

Nagpur : Opening batsman Simon Katich led the Australian fight-back as the visitors ended the second day’s play at 189 for two in the first innings, in reply to India’s 441, in the fourth and last Test at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium here Friday.

Katich was batting on 92 and Mike Hussey 45 at stumps. Australia still trail by 252 runs. Earlier, off-spinner Jason Krejza picked up eight for 215 and became the eighth spinner in the Test history to bag eight wickets on debut.
