Cologne : For the first time in nearly 20 years, Cologne beat Hannover 96 in a 2-1 victory in the Bundesliga football tournament.
Jan Schlaudraff scored the first goal for Hannover in the 15th minute, but Brazilian Pedro Geromel equalised for Cologne in the 43rd minute here Friday.
The goal in front of 47,000 spectators in Cologne was the Brazilian’s first in the Bundesliga. Wilfried Sanou scored the winning goal in the 71st minute.
Cologne now move to sixth spot while Hannover remain at 13.
