By IANS,

The two, who had earlier admitted to having attended the Sep 16 Abhinav Bharat meeting in the school premises where the Malegaon bomb blast plan was presumably discussed, had put in their papers Wednesday.

CHMES general secretary Prabhakar Pathak told IANS late Thursday evening that the two school functionaries had requested to be relieved of their posts in order to clear the fair name of the School from the bomb blast case as they had attended the meeting in their personal capacity.

Both Raikar and Gaidhani had been grilled twice by the Anti Terrorist Squad of the Maharashtra police investigating the Sep 29 Malegaon bomb blast. They are now likely to be made witnesses in the case, ATS sources said.

Six people were killed in the Sep 29 Malegaon bomb blast.
