Riyadh, Dhul Qaada : The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al Manie announced the allocation of SR100 million for medical services during this year`s Haj season. More than 10,000 male and female employees of the ministry were also readied for providing medical services for pilgrims.
In a press conference held here yesterday after chairing a meeting of Haj health committees under the Ministry of Health, he said that the ministry introduced a new service this year to inquire about patients through the ministry`s Web site on the Internet or a toll-free number (8002494444).
The minister said that all the arrangements are in place to receive pilgrims at 24 hospitals with a capacity of 2,939 beds in the holy places and Madinah as well as at 124 health centers.
