A quite sunrise in Bali, Indonesia as the nation witnessed execution of the three men convicted for the 2002 bombings in Bali that killed 202 people in the Southeast Asian nation’s worst terrorist attack.

The three convicted, Amrozi, Imam Samudra and Ali Ghufron, on death row since their conviction five years ago, were shot by a firing squad in Nusakambangan, a prison island off the coast of Central Java on November 9, 2008 at 12:15 a.m. Bali is a famous tourist spot in Indonesia. In 1990, the population of Bali was 2,778,000. Muslims of Indonesia number over 182 million making it the largest Muslim country. In an overwhelming Muslim country, Bali is predominantly Hindu.

Having been promoted by the Dutch during the colonialization period (1930s), Balinese tourism is the most advanced in Indonesia. The most impressive aspect of Bali’s tourism is cultural identity, beautiful beaches, and flora & fauna.
