New Delhi : Two MPs – Lal Mani Prasad and Jaisingrao Gaikwad Patil – are still holed up at the Taj hotel in Mumbai but are safe, says parliament member N.N. Krishnadas who was rescued from there Thursday even as terrorists continued to hold other guests hostage.
“We are waiting for Patil and Prasad. They are safe and they are expected to reach here after the entire operation is over,” Krishnadas told IANS over phone.
Besides Krishnadas, Bhupinder Singh Solanki was also rescued by commandos from the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, which was one of the places where terrorists struck Wednesday night in an overnight attack, killing at least 101 people and injuring over 250.
“We are now at the Bank of Baroda rest house,” said Krishnadas.
The MPs, who are the members of the parliamentary committee for subordinate legislation, were scheduled to attend four meetings in Mumbai Thursday and Friday. Krishnadas is the chairman of the committee.
