Washington : The $700-billion emergency finance rescue plan cleared the final hurdle Friday when the US House of Representatives voted 263 to 171 to adopt a second version of the proposal.
The Senate approved the measure on Wednesday, adding sweeteners to sway disenchanted Republicans and Democrats in the lower House who killed an earlier version on Monday.
