Baku : The 4th meeting of the Islamic countries’ science ministers started its work in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Monday.
Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad-Mehdi Zahedi as well as 200 representatives from 40 Islamic states have attended the meeting.
Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri delivered inaugural statement.
During the three-day event, the science ministers will confer on the future for the Islamic countries’ cooperation in technological and scientific fields.
They will also examine the issues about which have been discussed during the 3rd meeting held in Kuwait two years ago.
