Tehran : Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Wednesday warned against the Western governments collusion with leaders of the terrorist Taliban.
In his statement to the inaugural session of the two-day meeting of Executive Council of Asian Parliaments, he criticized recent meetings held between Western officials with several Taliban leaders.
Referring to increase in drug production in Afghanistan, Larijani said such a situation is resulted from the so-called Western anti-terrorist policies.
He added that such policies have increased terrorism in the region by three times.
Such a wrong policy is the main reason behind wrong evaluation of power and situation as well as of the cultural and social status of the region, Larijani noted.
