Agartala : Security forces in Tripura Sunday recovered materials used for making explosives, besides incriminating documents, officials said.
Based on specific inputs, police recovered materials used for making bombs, mobile phone accessories, recharged mobile phone coupons, map of Agartala, a diagram of bomb making method and notebooks containing bombing plans from a house at Abhoynagar, on the outskirts of the city, said west Tripura district police chief K.V. Sreejesh.
“We would not like to disclose the names of the persons from whose house we seized these materials in the interest of investigations,” he said.
The seizures were significant as the capital city was rocked by serial bombings Oct 1 in which about 100 people were injured.
