The morning started with Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) Azamgarh MP Akbar Ahmad ‘Dumpy’ demanding a judicial probe into the Jamia Nagar shootout in which two suspected terrorists and a Delhi Police inspector were killed Sep 19. Police had said they had unravelled the conspiracy behind the Delhi serial blasts on Sep 13.

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) also created a ruckus when its MPs raised the issue of north Indians appearing for the railways exam in Mumbai being attacked by Raj Thackeray’s MNS Sunday. RJD chief and Railways Minister Lalu Prasad had described Thackeray as a “mental case”.

With continued disruptions in the house, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon.
