New Delhi : The India government will open 1,500 industrial training institutes in areas where there aren’t any, informed Wednesday Labor Minister Oscar Fernandez to the Parliamentary Upper House.
About 300 of those institutions will be supported by the Cabinet next month, to which will be added an already approved similar figure, noted the minister.
The central government will allocate funds to update the 100 already established while the World Bank promised aid to do the same thing with the other 400.
In addition, the government is planning to establish 5,000 Skills Developing Centers as a priority, said Fernandez.
